When it comes to bridal style it’s the finishing touches that complete the look; the delicate detailing to an otherwise simple gown, an accent colour on a sea of ivory, a velvet ribbon tie or a feather fascinator all come together to make your look unique and on-trend for this season.

Colour

This season, with pure white gowns a favourite in many collections, colour came in the small details - a grosgrain belt here, a flower detail there. Champagne, oyster, ivory and cream remain and are a flattering choice for paler skins and dramatic flashes of graphic black and white and deep burgundy made a guest appearance.

On-style coloured detail is seen in the form of a satin ribbon sash with pretty brooch on ‘Beautiful’ by Caroline Castligliano, from her latest ‘Indulgent collection’. The elegant duchess satin bodice is overlayed with chantilly lace, another key style for this coming season.
